MORE TIPS FROM CELEBRITY 'FACE MECHANICS'...

EYES. It's a trend right now to line the full rim of your eyes with black eyeliner, but this will only make your eyes look smaller (especially in the photo's). Try going lightly with the eyeliner in towards your nose and heavier towards the outer edges of your eyes. This will make your eyes look huge and give that 'cat eye' look that looks great on amost everyone.

LIPS. Lucious, juicy lips are still huge and why not? They look great! For long lasting colour, find a lip liner that you like the look of (natural colours are so hot right now) and colour you lips in with it, then dab some gloss over the top - easy as! If you don't want your lips too shiny, just use some papaw ointment instead of gloss.

You might get a bit sweaty or oily on the night, remember to pat your face with a tissue, don't wipe it. Actually, the less you touch your face and hair, the better it will stay looking great.

If you get a zit on the day of your formal, don't freak out - there's always the age old trick of turning it into a beauty spot!!!

FALSE EYELASHES ARE H-U-G-E RIGHT NOW!  Some biggun's are a bit OTT but you can get individual eyelashes that you glue on just where you need help - like the outer corners of your eyes!

FINAL TIP - WATERPROOF MASCARA!!! It's an emotional night after all...
